Very close to the Wilpattu National park, the resort is an ideal location to stay the night. With a nice swimming pool it also gives some refreshment after a long warm day. The view from the 3rd view is also magnificent

Luxury accommodation with superb meals in a jungle setting. We did the all day safari seeing leopards, elephants, crocodiles and loads of birds. Also the evening boat safari which was relaxing, but very informative with a knowledgeable guide. The setting is idyllic next to the river. There are only a handful of other guests so plenty of space for sitting, relaxing.
The food is of a very high standard, beautifully presented and good value. Nothing is too much trouble for the attentive waiting staff.
Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was perfect. Roshan and his staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Arranged a perfect full day safari with the best driver/spotter we could have hoped for.
And some of the best vegan food I have had. Thank you Roshan and staff/family.

What a great stay we had at the Ceylon Resort Willpatu. Everyone was so welcoming and open to assist with what you needed. The food was delicious! We took the full day tour and saw so many incredibly beautiful animals. This day was a highlight! Would highly recommend staying here.
Amazing accommodation, super friendly host and crew. Beautiful new rooms, new bathroom…, luxury looking. Amazing bed and pillows, by far the best stay. Beautiful garden with fresh fruits, tons of birds to watch and according to paw prints, the occasional elephant. Very good food
The whole experience was amazing. The room was great, no large in size but perfectly adequate with a large covered outside area.
All the staff were wonderful along with the home cooked meals! We highly recommend Ceylon resort especially if doing a safari at Willpattu, which they also offer!
Our flight was cancelled and later they put us in the next flight, therefore we could not make it to the accommodation on the booked date. However, Green Sapphire Holiday Resort was very kind and understanding, kindly allowing us to postpone the stay to the next day without fuss even it meant having to get the room ready in a short notice. There is nothing to dislike about this resort. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food served for breakfast and Dinner is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Roshan he is a bundle of energy and motivates his staff to be the best they can.
The Safari organised from the resort is fantastic with excellent experienced guides. Any onwards travel can be organised by the owner very quickly. I highly recommend this resort.
