Exellent Stay in Tissamaharama. Nice and very quite place. Clean room and nice view of the lake. They also have the nice pool. We get the dinner it was super. They packed our breakfast our next day morning .after the safari they arranged the taxi for us very reasonable price.everything was perfect .

This place was amazing. Nina’s give us all the good advices! He recommend and organized a half day safari. It was amazing. We saw all the animals in the park.
After the safari he prepared lunch for us and showed us how to cook an eggplant curry in a simple way. It was delicious and cheap as well! He helped us to get to the bus station and explained in a really good way how to get to our next destination. Thanks you for your help and your kindness

I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort and it makes me want to stay in their other locations. Amazing value for the $ - spacious luxurious modern rooms, unbelievable buffets with the biggest selection of food I've seen on par with the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok, super helpful and responsive staff, perfect large pool area with plenty of shade where not crammed into side by side lounges, bonus to have a beach/lagoon where can see crocodiles and wonderful vibe. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Loved the food and that they cook dinner in front of you, it was so authentic, and beautiful grounds. They organised our safari for us which was really helpful, and arrange all the food for the day. The open hut made for an incredible experience but was too scary for my youngest child (6), but the staff accommodated on our second night by setting up a different room for him.

Absolutely stunning place. Well designed. Having just been to Marrakech in Morocco, this resort reminded us of a luxurious Riad! Excellent food, super pleasant staff and helpful owner! Perfect springboard for Yala. Our excellent safari driver, Mari, turned out to be a perfect leopard spotter (organised by My Village)
Owner is absolutely legend!! Fantastic guy that planned a bbq for us, organised owl spotting and took us lake swimming. Fantastic host, and gorgeous, clean rooms with a nice common area. 100% recommend!! You can spot crocodiles from the resort
Very comfortable room. The host arranged a safari tour for us which was excellent. The resort is outside of town but the food in the resort was delicious.

The resort is beautifully maintained, supported by an extremely helpful and motivated team. The apartments in the villas are very spacious and very clean. The kitchen also deserves a compliment for the delicious curry dishes. Extra points for the swimming pool.
We stayed 1 night in Chaarya Resort and had a nice stay. It is a lovely and modern resort with many rooms. The room was large and had everything we needed. Nice gym, pool table and a bar showing sport events. Prepared a breakfast bag for our early morning safari.
The host was super friendly and arranged the safari tour for us. Breakfast was packed nicely for us to eat during the tour as well. Dinner was great and the areas surrounding the resort were really scenic as well. It was a nice scenic walk to the lake nearby also.
Nehansa Resort was in a comfortable location in Tissamaharama town with easy access to nearby places like Raja Maha Vihara. The room was comfortable and well ventilated. Due to the location and mosquito menace, they also had a net covering the entire bed, which made for a comfortable night's sleep. They were also kind enough to arrange the Yala Safari at a nominal price for us. The icing on the cake was the tender coconuts they gave to us on arrival, and the deer they were grooming behind their resort.
The hotel is located behind the resort. It is away from the traffic of the main road so it's quiet. The hosts were so nice and hospitable. The owners personally came to greet me. When I asked about breakfast options, they said there was no breakfast but they offered a rice-based snack which was very nice and appreciated.
