We had a wonderful stay, Dinesh always made sure that we had everything and anything we could possibly wish for. The food was delicious, the tea advices, the thoughtfulness and care truly made us feel at home.
It was also very nice, that you get the opportunity to go kitesurfing with the neighbors at 'the rascals'.

This hotel is a paradise! The hotel consists of small houses in the middle of a palm forest. We liked the simple but stylish houses with a view over the lagoon where we watched the sunset. The pool is beautiful, as a size and view. Availability of canoes for a tour around the lagoon. They have a great kitesurfing school attached. The gear is good and new and the teachers are great.The owner Matt has a good system with free technical sessions. If you really want to learn to be independent kiter this is the best school ( and we have tried a few before). The lagoon allows you to learn on flat water but if you are experienced and like waves the sea is just on the other side of the beach. The top food bar above the kite center is amazing! The best thing of the hotel and the kite school however are the people! They are friendly, professional and went above and beyond to make our stay special. And the highlight of our stay was the chef and his team! The best food we had in Sri Lanka! The biggest king prawns and sea bass we ever had and other seafood all from the afternoon catch of the fishermen every day for dinner. Excellently cooked with creativity, combining local and western herbs and styles. Thank you so much, we will be back!

What a lovely surprise. We wanted to check out the Kalpitiya peninsula but are not kite surfers so were a bit hesitant booking at Kitelantis. Let me say, have no hesitation this is an amazing place to stay. Jessie is a natural host, who's own story is fascinating and inspiring. We talked for a long time but could have gone for hours. He is dedicated to making the place successful not just for his guests but for his staff and the community. We extended our stay and loved every second. A kayak on the lagoon at sunset, a drink on the private jetty, a swim up bar, or a kite surf or safari, this place ticks a lot of boxes. Great rooms, the outdoor private bathrooms are next level.
We will recommend to friends and will be back. Can't wait to see what Jessie and the team achieve in the years to come. An inspirational Sri Lankan success story.

This is not a five star resort with all the facilities, if you need that go elsewhere! But, if like us, what you love is accomodation right on the beach with a comfortable bed, semi open air bathroom, access to brilliant diving, kitesurfing etc with amazing staff and great food ( we had a prawn curry one night which was the best meal of our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka ) and the whole thing is a tranquil, tropical oasis, then this is the place! We stayed 5 nights and wished it was longer. Highly recommend but don’t book budget accom and then complain about what they do not provide. We had an amazing experience here and highly recommend.

Outstanding service throughout our stay. Thanseem and his team attended our every request; some had f the friendliest staff you will meet. The chef is incredible and breakfast and dinner were delicious, they have just put in a brand new pool 2 weeks ag which is a great addition and it has a kids slide. Stylish rooms with brilliant decor and good A/C.
Dinuda is in a great location, not far from the sand bar with the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. You can watch the kite surfers from the resort if you don’t want to venture out.
The rooms are lovely, big, bright and airy, very clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony with views out over the lagoon. There’s also a small pool, great to cool down in, and beautiful quiet gardens.

- for tuktuk drives around or to the lagoon you can always count on “Isuru” (just ask at the reception for his name/number); he is very friendly, helpful and makes good prices :)
We had a great experience at Koddu. The hospitality and facilities were amazing. It’s a boutique resort so everything is very personalized and the attention is 5 stars. The food was very good and everyone was very attentive. We can’t say anything negative. Hopefully we can come back soon.
