Wonderful place right at the beach. The resort is built with a lot of love to detail and mostly natural materials. It's so peaceful and relaxing in the garden. Excellent Yoga lessons, delicious pizza and food. The owners make you feel right at home and are incredibly helpful with organising trips and taking care of everything you need for a relaxing stay.

This resort is like a dream. One of the most beautiful resorts I have stayed at. It is super luxurious, beautiful private cabanas, good food and very attentive and nice staff. This is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. We stayed there for 3 nights. Also the beach in Arugambay is really fun with nice waves.
Rooms are very clean and big, the king sized bed was made my stay more comfort. The tasty sri lankan breakfast was delicious , delivered with the beautiful view on the resort. The room is also quiet and has the hot water shower facilities. the beach is near on walking distance. I'm eagerly waiting for my next visit to the amora. It is worth for money. I highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at Sand Dune Beach Resort & Surf Camp for 2 nights in Arugam Bay, and it was the best experience! Haroon is the most helpful and kind person I've ever met. He went above and beyond to help me sort out my bus to Colombo so I could catch my flight back to London.
Haroon and his colleagues are truly dedicated to helping their guests and the local community. I highly recommend staying here if you want a fantastic and memorable experience.

It's right on the beach, so you can listen to the waves breaking from your bed, sunbed, hammock or while doing yoga 🙏🏻 If you want a yoga class, surf lesson, transport, food..anything, they'll arrange for you :)
Easy yet cosy rooms, as is the resort. It's not a luxury one, but clean and well kept and cosily arranged with light chains, hammocks, sitting groups etc.
We slept in Popoye beach resort, because of construction works close to Chimaca Bay. It's the same friendly owner who offered us the other hotel when we arrived. We had a really good stay in Popoye. It was clean, everybody was friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. Especially the owner was so helpful. I forgot my ring and he organised somebody who brought it to my next hotel within a day. Thank you so much!
Hotle located right on the beach, very nice holiday cottages, very big rooms, great combination of luxury and beach cottage style with a bathroom under sky. Close to nature, ocean view from every point of the resort. Very nice restaurant and friendly staff.
