We had an absolutely amazing stay in Ahu Bay. We decided to end up our honeymoon spontaneously at the beach, so we were looking for a nice place in the surrounding of the airport, which is at the beachside and not a big hotel. And so Ahu Bay was definitely the right choice. It is a wonderful, modern and small hotel with delicious food and an almost private beach (at least in off season). The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Our room was big and we had the best rain shower we have ever had. And on top of that we had the perfect view over the ocean. Ahu Bay wants to save turtles. So there were baby turtles hatching out exactly when we were staying there. And in the evening hours they enabled us to let one of those one day old baby turtles go into the big ocean. That was an incredible feeling and you could see that also every single Ahu Bay employee was happy to watch that and maybe our baby turtle is the one out of thousand baby turtles that in 25 years will come back to this beach and will but their eggs on this beach.

My husband and I enjoyed the serenity of the place as well as the beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly especially our buttler, Roshan, who was extremely polite, helpful and friendly. He definitely made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely come back again.

They've always helped me out with everything i needed and their resort is located right next to the beach with the most beautiful coral reef i've ever seen in my life.
Beautiful resort over looking beach and the pool. Delicious Food selections. Excellent service. Staff is very helpful during our stay. We celebrated Our Mother's 70th Birthday over there. All requirements of us was organized very well including Beautiful birthday cake and the room was decorated with balloons and other deco's which made my mum day beautiful n surprised. it was a great atmosphere. We definitely recommend the shangrela beach resort as a place for lodge.
