Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
I guess you get what you pay for. There were other nearby resorts that looked desirable after staying only one night here. The innkeeper and his wife were very kind and spoke some English, although not willing to accommodate with use of bath after we checked out and went SUP-ing the next day.
- Such a hospitable place to stay! The owner is a great guy and speaks very good English; we had a great time in the evening chatting with him and tapping on his formidable vinyl collection.
- The guesthouse is situated right in the middle of Matsushima
- It is a simple guesthouse so you shouldn't go in expecting luxury, but the beds are comfy and the whole place is spotlessly clean

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
