Asama Kuzanbo, hotel in Karuizawa

Located in Naganohara, 38 km from Honmachi Machiyakan, Asama Kuzanbo provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant.

Overall Scenery: We greatly enjoyed the view of the villas. Mount Asama was majestic, and the sunrises and sunsets were stunningly beautiful. At night, the lighting was fantastic, especially the area lit up to resemble dandelions near the Sky Spa. Cuisine: The staff were very professional, so the meals were ready while we were chatting. The complimentary drinks were all delicious, and the quality of the meat and vegetables was top-notch. The ravioli and sausages for breakfast were also exquisite. Lounge: We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the interior and the art displayed. The books and photographs provided great conversation starters, and the alcohol flowed, making for a delightful time. Sky Spa: The atmosphere of the open-air jacuzzi was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the view.

Nice spacious huge room! Separate bathroom and toilet. Even has a cooking area with microwave, but ... strangely, no plates or bowls. Tastefully decorated place with all the amenities for luxury and comfort. Wished I had booked more nights. The hotel is also well situated far from the central activity. While it is a short distance from the train stations, it is nicely placed in the woods - good for a nice walk to beautiful greenery and quiet trails.

Second time we stayed at Rosso. Main reason is shopping at the Karuizawa outlet. Short one night stay as we have visited the resort before.

The staff was great, the food was really good (though Western only), and the location was reasonable. It is close enough to several ski resorts, but obviously you're gonna need a car to get around. We had a good experience staying here for a long weekend while snowboarding.

Design, Space, staff and atmosphere. The glampling aspect of it is really cool. Bring your own food drinks and enjoy a relaxing time in the lounge. Staff is available for any cutlery you may need, advice to visit the area. Onsen is easy access although in the different part of the resort but no problem. The onsen is beautiful
