The food was excellent. The natural beauty was spectacular. But the best thing about this place was the service of the staff. Outstanding. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and just wonderful to talk to. The gift shop they had was very good. No marked up prices and supportive of local artisans. That's very nice.

It was very serene. The dome stay was very peaceful away from the hustle. The staff was also very cooperative and friendly. Met the owner(shaji) as well he told us about places to visit, thanks to him for allowing us to get some tea leaves back with us.

I regret not having visited Morickap Resort earlier. The hospitality, location, and food were truly exceptional. Even though I'm from the area, I never had the chance to stay there until recently. After hearing numerous positive reviews, my family and I finally spent two nights at the resort.
Maintaining a plantation stay with such high cleanliness and minimal insects is no easy feat, yet Morickap Resort exceeded my expectations in this regard. Many high-end plantation properties I've seen are plagued with insects, but Morickap Resort's upkeep was impressive.
Moreover, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff were exceptionally trained and courteous, ensuring a premium experience. The food was also outstanding, particularly if you're craving high-quality North Indian cuisine.

I really enjoyed my Wayanad visit and one reason has to be this property. The property gives a mini resort like vibes. And staff here are the best part about The Hosteller Wayanad. No matter how pretty a property is it is the staff working there that makes it what it is. Each staff member was very supportive and friendly. I was there during the T20 WC semi Finals and Finals and staff arranged the screening in the common area which everyone enjoyed a lot.
Rooms are bigger but had Monkey menace on our rooms given. Breakfast was OK but no variety . Pool cleanliness was poor.
Approach road was worst as main rood was closed and too narrow escape . Charges of room are high compared to next Vythari Village resort.
Very special resort that offers outstanding staff, a wonderful scenery and great activities, such as the nature walks with the „Naturalist“ (big shoutout!).
