This was our first destination in Kerala and we wish we had been able to stay longer than the single night our schedule allowed. It’s a totally serene and private environment since it only has 5 rooms. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff and owner all lovely, and generous with their time. Would love to return one day.

We spent 2 days at Falcon Crest Resort. The place looks brand new and we got a room with balcony, a great view on the garden, swimming pool and river. Bestin was always there to get us anything we requested for and was proactive in offering us another room when the AC malfunctioned.
We had 2 delicious Kerala dinners prepared by Deepayen and breakfast was great as well.

Everything about stay here has been exceptional. The location is absolutely stunning, the room was extremely comfortable (the best and comfiest bed we had during our month in India), the food was just divine and all the staff have been super friendly and professional. I highly recommend it.
We also booked a day jeep safari and the driver was awesome. He took us around places and we also Booked him the next day. It was just great. Thank you.

The place needs a complete clean and update. The tent had a basic bathroom but the beds were dated and uncomfortable. Mouldy tent and light fittings.The floor of the dining area hadn't been swept or washed for a long time. We've stayed in several places with similar outdoor dining areas which are swept and mopped daily. Only takes a few minutes.Our tent had a seating area which was dirty ( I washed it) But the birdlife was plentiful, the free cycles were welcome to have a trip to the amazing swing bridge. Very friendly local people.. Potentially could be great.Thattekad bird sanctuary well worth a visit.
