We spent 2 days at Falcon Crest Resort. The place looks brand new and we got a room with balcony, a great view on the garden, swimming pool and river. Bestin was always there to get us anything we requested for and was proactive in offering us another room when the AC malfunctioned.
We had 2 delicious Kerala dinners prepared by Deepayen and breakfast was great as well.

This was our first destination in Kerala and we wish we had been able to stay longer than the single night our schedule allowed. It’s a totally serene and private environment since it only has 5 rooms. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff and owner all lovely, and generous with their time. Would love to return one day.

The place needs a complete clean and update. The tent had a basic bathroom but the beds were dated and uncomfortable. Mouldy tent and light fittings.The floor of the dining area hadn't been swept or washed for a long time. We've stayed in several places with similar outdoor dining areas which are swept and mopped daily. Only takes a few minutes.Our tent had a seating area which was dirty ( I washed it) But the birdlife was plentiful, the free cycles were welcome to have a trip to the amazing swing bridge. Very friendly local people.. Potentially could be great.Thattekad bird sanctuary well worth a visit.

Excellent setting on the banks of a beautiful river. This property, located near a forest, is quite calm and comfortable. You can always hear a symphony of countless birds. Modest but filling breakfast.. The service is friendly and welcoming. The bed is fairly comfortable. The personnel are very friendly. It's as if you're going to visit a friend.
