This resort is a true hidden gem, located just outside Santiniketan, far from the city's hustle and bustle, yet close enough to explore the top attractions. I visited from Canada and had an unforgettable experience with my extended family from Kolkata. The traditional Bengali villas were a perfect blend of comfort and nature, offering a unique connection to both the culture of Tagore and family bonding. The peaceful and tranquil environment made it feel like a home away from home.
The home-cooked Bengali meals were exceptional, featuring fresh, organic vegetables, fish, and poultry. Every bite was a delight, and the authenticity of the flavors made it even more special. The property owner and staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always going the extra mile to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning whenever we visit India again. It was the perfect place to recharge, relax, and spend quality time with loved ones.

I really loved the stay here. The room, bed cover, cupboard, blanket, lights and of course the bathroom is absolutely clean and hygienic. Moreover, how can I forget about the tasty, affordable and satisfying food quality. My mother is very happy with my choice of staying at RTDR resort. Also, I would like to Thank Mr. Haran Sardar for taking proper care of every needs of every tourist staying there. He is very helpful, informative, active, attentive, proactive, approachable and lastly a very good human being. In addition to this, I like to thank 2 service boys named Chotu and Saheb for their on time services.
Lastly, There is a lovely garden in the entrance of the resort which actually gives positive vibes to every tourist.

Very soothing ambience with cleanliness. Also the staffs were very much cooperative. The manager Mr. Kaushik Chakraborty himself takes care of each n every guests individually. Would recommend everyone this resort. Also in near future if I comes to Shantiniketan Bolpur, I would stay in this place only.
The charges are also not so high.. It's completely fine according to the service given by them. Also the food is also very nice nice.
Beautiful wooded and resort like setting. Nicely sets the mood for a visit to Shantiniketan. Each room is set up like an independent thatched hut with a veranda in front. There were only half a dozen units which enhanced the feeling of privacy. The staff were very friendly, especially the owner who was extremely helpful.
The surroundings of the resort should be clean. There are garbages every where surroundings of the resort. Resort shouldn't encourage picnic parties with loud boxes which may hamper the peace of the boarders. Picnic parties are using their common toilets against little cost and making nuisance the surroundings. It's not acceptable.
