This is a marvelous gem of a place - its small, but that's a positive since it does not have a large resort / hotel vibe and almost feels like a family gathering. It has only 6 rooms or so (we were in the 2 private villas overlooking the canal). The staff is very helpful and everyone we met really made us welcome, helped us with anything we needed and looked after us very well, including getting us fresh toddy, arranging a shikara ride in the morning, making off menu dishes, etc. The property is superbly maintained and picturesque, the pool is incredibly clean. Everything is classy and pretty with nothing out of place. There are enough places to loll around and watch the endless houseboats float on the canal, sitting outside and stuffing one's face was a pleasure (the menu has a lot of choice), traveling to the "mainland" from the island in a small row boat was a blast. They also arranged a small celebration on 31st midnight with cakes and fireworks which was much appreciated by all guests!

Our stay at the resort was truly wonderful and peaceful, set in an ideal location. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the latest amenities, exuding a sense of luxury. My daughter loved the loaded TV entertainment. Vishnu, who assisted us during our stay, was excellent and always attended to our requests with a smile. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we will return if we have the chance.

An oasis of pure luxury and charm. You step into a paradise filled with butterflies, tropical parrots and birdlife. The food was next level sublime and the entire staff were super kind, friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Beautiful bathrooms, comfortable bed and each day we dined on our veranda - super relaxing. I have travelled to many countries and stayed at many 5 star resorts and this venue trumps them all. We will be back!
