Travellers who truly “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
What an excellent hotel, highly recommended! Very friendly staff, colonial style rooms with a lot of space and windows that keep the noise out, an awesome restaurant at the rooftop with outstanding service and a big variety of food and drinks at the rich breakfast buffet. The afternoon tea and coffee around the pool make you feeling like in a colonial period. The manager took care of us personally. When we arrived, we could turn the fortune spinning wheel to win prizes on the occasion of the first anniversary of the hotel.
One of few resorts available in Solo city. Facilities are exquisite, bring a beach soccer ball and play soccer here or bring a tennis racquet and play tennis.
Good location, accessible, but also within a neighbourhood so not noisy. Lots of plants giving it the feeling of a resort. Friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable shared spaces to work. Location also has a small set of gamelan instruments (gadhon). I didn't borrow them to practice this trip, but those in Solo looking to learn gamelan could ask the staff if they can be borrowed for lessons.
The location is across the street from Hartono mall and The Park mall, a 5 min stroll. Parking, albeit tight, is available in the basement. The room size is of course small, but all basic facilities are available (running hot water, refillable water jug, toothbrush, shampoo, towels, thin indoor slippers, small safe deposit box, cable TV). No frills, no luxury, but sufficient for a short stay if you don't expect much or don't plan to only remain in the room during your stay.
