The location is simply outstanding for those seeking to escape the crowds and immerse themselves in the beauty of sunsets and the Milky Way, all while sitting on the rooftop with a glass of something, surrounded by fragrant clove trees.
As for the accommodations, they're comfortable enough for a couple of nights, and we often choose to stay here when traveling to the north of the island, passing through Bedugul and Munduk. If you're traveling by motorbike, you'll definitely appreciate this place too.

Beautiful hotel and view. Bungalow rooms scattered over the hillside. The beautiful pool was an absolute show piece. Breakfast was your standard fare. We ate at the restaurant 3 times over our stay and food was all tasty, but the chicken schnitzel was small and tough to eat. We recommend this place and plan on returning for another stay.

Breakfast was really nice with plenty of options to choose from. Special mention to Shirley who delivered exceptional service by making sure everything was to our liking regarding the floating breakfast. I would highly recommend doing this. Maha Hills also has an option to attend a cooking class this class teaches you how to make authentic balinese food which was amazing.
The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They could never do enough for you. A special mention to Dedi who was very friendly and was a pleasure to chat to.

Great sunset view from the cottagesand wonderful location to hike from. Cottages clean and decent but not luxury. Good breakfast at Adila Homestay/restaurant just next door and many lunch/dinner possibilities nearby.

Ibu Ira was in the lobby, she was very pleasant, even though there was a problem with the shower at the beginning, she quickly solved it to my satisfaction. There are amazing non-touristy waterfall valley treks nearby. Right above the accommodation there is a resort that offers a wonderful view of the sunset in the garden, from here you can see as far as northern Lovina. Warm water was an advantage because it is colder here. There is no need for air conditioning in the room - I didn't even use the fan because it was a cold day.

Beautiful resort in the mountains. The morning sunrises were breathtaking, the rooms were large and clean, and we enjoyed lounging in the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, their restaurant menu was diverse and had many options to choose from. We also had a couples massage which was lovely. We hired a driver so we did not use their transportation to the waterfalls but that option was there. We would recommend staying here.
We absolutely loved our stay! Very friendly staff, food is great, fantastic location on top of a mountain with great view. Great resort, very green. Also the temperature is perfect, not too hot, about 20 degrees Celcius, but it does cool off at night. The SPA is great as well, and nice afternoon tea, Balinese dance night and bbq, we loved everything. They offer a wide range of activities, for example a shared ride to the Munduk waterfalls and to the Ulun Danu Beratan temple
Everything was exceptional!
The staff is very nice and professional and was willing to do anything for you. The food was excellent at breakfast and dinner, the views were beautiful from our villa "Palm Sugar" with the jacuzzi, and the sunset over the main pool was amazing.
We definitely would come back to stay at Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort again and will recommend it to our friends.
