The gardens are well maintained and units far enough away from each other to ensure peace and quiet. Just walk over the road to the beach which was great. Had read from a previous review that one of the garden rooms is next to a walkway which has rubbish lining it. We asked to move and were given a unit which was very private, so once again it all depends on where your room is located.

Great staff which helped us arrange many things, AMAZING location right on the beach, clean modern rooms with nice design and a fantastic breakfast. Live music at night was great and it is in a beautiful part of the island, in walking distance to shops, day spas and restaurants, yet still a very chill atmosphere. We had the room with the fresh jacuzzi and it was a lovely courtyard to hang out in.

We loved our stay at Sunrise resort. It is true that it is a bit rustic/run down and somewhat overpriced, but once you get past that it is really charming and lovely. We loved the pool and the beach, excellent snorkelling with a couple of turtles right in front of hotel. The location is fabulous and the staff are lovely. Breakfast buffet was nice (kids loved the Nutella!).We would be very happy to come back here. Don’t forget to actually watch the sunrise!

Not as bad as the reviews suggest! Excellent location with a private section of the best beach on the island! Our room was clean and had everything we needed, with a hot shower and decent aircon. Pool towels provided. Good buffet breakfast and helpful staff. The property also has a couple of SUPs which are free for guests to use which is great. Very close to a variety of bars and restaurants.
Price does seem a lot compared to what you get in Bali, however island life is different and things generally cost more and facilities are just more basic in general.

Exceptional service from a consistently friendly team always happy to help. The resort had everything you need, and lots of thoughtful extras - including local myths for bedtime stories offered during the turndown service. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the morning and sunset views were lovely.
The location is fabulous, right outside the harbour station. Inspite of being a dive resort busy with people coming in for diving, the cottages have privacy. Room was decent spacious, bathroom was pretty big. Staff is very helping. Inhouse restaurant is good place to chill. Many shops and restaurants are nearby.
The bungalows are in an ideal location a stone’s throw away from the beach on the east side of the island which I think is the prettiest. The resort itself is gorgeous! Spotlessly clean and the bungalows and pool area with the surrounding plants and flowers are so pretty. The staff are wonderful! So lovely and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again, and would certainly recommend for anyone looking to holiday on beautiful Gili Air.

Beautifully decorated resort with seaview chilling area. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are so nice and cosy! Location is perfect, at the more quiet area of Gili Air, but still close to everything you need. The pool is nice and clean too.
The staff were very friendly and warm, making sure we were enjoying our stay. Breakfast on the beach was delicious with a wide selection of options. The pool was excellent with plenty of comfortable spots to sit and the staff would bring around surprise treats on a regular basis. The sunsets from the beach were spectacular and the resort was well set up to enhance the enjoyment.
We had an amazing time in the Salim Beach Resort! Our stay there was just perfect and we enjoyed every minute! The breakfast was simple but really delicious and with a beautiful view on the mountains of Lombok. The staff was also super friendly and courteous. Our room was comfortable. We will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!
