Moved fromThe Manor House At Celtic Manor to Manor Resort, the staff members was good in the in reception and resturants, big call out to a lady that helped us move rooms (Dawn)
This hotel is new so it should be great anyway but we found it absolutely wonderful. The facilities are first class - triple glazed windows so very quiet, beds are luxurious with scrumptious mattress toppers and divine pillows, luxury bathrooms, power showers, plenty of work surfaces to place your toiletries on. Hotel lobby smelled amazing with luxury air freshener in the air conditioning. Staff are very keen to help. It was a wonderful stay and we are rebooking already for another trip to the area in 4 months time.
The facilities are very good at the main hotel, the resort a bit of a trek getting from one to the other but not a big deal for fit people . BIG BUG BEAR: Are guests having to pay parking facilities of £20 per night, shocking. that was
£80 on to our already large bill ,and also £23 pounds each for breakfast 3 nights another £138 on to our bill
The flat is very tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the super king size was a real luxury. TVs in the bedrooms meant we could all chill out watching whatever we liked. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked some of our meals. The bathrooms are really smart and the shower was great. The flat is warm and very quiet. The flat is a good base to go to Cardiff.
I thought the food at the resort was really good and enjoyed the breakfast and dinner on the Monkey King.
The staff at breakfast were very informative and could not do enough to help you.
Reception staff very good.
A charming hotel in an old priory, given a modern twist and definitely with a Spanish flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas (although perhaps the menu could be more extensive) and the breakfast - including chorizo.
Apparently, we were upgraded to a luxury room and it was a treat - very large and comfortable.
Stay here often. It is part of a golf resort so is very busy at times but is good value for money and rooms are comfortable.
