A true luxury resort, Schloss Roxburghe offers the highest quality stay in the Scottish Borders. A spa, a wide range of activities (golf, skeet, archery, etc.), and beautiful grounds make this the sort of stay where you never need to leave the property. The food options are very good and there is an outstanding whisky bar. Our room was comfortable (the bed was wonderful), and the stay was everything we would expect at a property of this quality
The food and restaurant facilities are awful. The staff have no idea about what a luxury stay should be like. The rooms are lovely and the spa is great. But the food is frankly awful, tried eating in both the restaurant and the bar and would definitely never eat again. And the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had, cold porridge, u cooked eggs frankly it was awful
The property gave a feeling of luxury without being too pretentious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff went out of their way to answer any requests made.
We liked the charm of this place and the small touches that showed that our hosts had thought about our comfort. There was a feeling of home about 1 Havannah Court but also of being away from home in a place of classic luxury and comfort. It was an ideal situation.
