Couldn’t fault our stay at this resort . Cottage was spotless , location perfect , bus stop a few minutes walk away. Staff very helpful and friendly. Even booked another stay there before we left at got a discount , also discount towards the ever increasing ferry crossing. The price is an absolute steal . Stayed down the road for many years , but they have increased prices , too much for us this time . Looked at Bay Colwell , perfect .
The hotel is in a stunning location. Freshwater Bay is busy with beachgoers during the day, but quiet at night. The dining room in particular has a stunning view, although I was completely alone in enjoying it as the high price for food seemed to have scared the other guests away! The generous bathroom was a much appreciated luxury after a long walk, even in the cheapest room option. I also loved the efforts the hotel had made to be environmentally conscious.
I love the hot tub, very good after a long day of visiting different places of the island. The resort is very closed and has easy access to the beach. The beach is very good for swimming as it is sandy and no strong waves.
Lovely house, really liked the layout. Super comfy beds! Soft, freshly laundered towels. So quiet and relaxing. The conservatory was an added bonus. Nice walks close by and close to shops. Nice neighbourhood. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the luxury of a dishwasher!
Perfect location with a short walk to the beach. The resort is very quiet and peaceful topped off with very modern facilities. We would recommend the bungalows with a hot tub!
