We were given a complimentary upgrade to the luxury suite which was amazing and totally unexpected.
I booked a solo stay here for the night before my friends wedding and got upgraded to a lovely luxury suite. The suite was incredible and allowed me to fully relax and rejuvenate the night before. The bathroom was huge and there was even a bath in the room. The TV had netflix and all of the apps so it was great overall. I was really touched by this and would most definitely return.
The single room with private bathroom is nice, well furnished and has a comfy bed. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. Jamie is a kind host, makes your stay even nicer. It's a great place for people who don't want a luxury stay. Very good value for money in Darlington. The hotel has a very clean kitchen to be used by guests (and free milk as well!!).
Outstanding service from all staff, very clean and good size of room. Extra touches like biscuits and hot chocolate was a great hit with my son. The morning staff were also lovely and a fabulous breakfast with a great selection. All round a fantastic experience. We'll be back.
A beautifully restored period property, immaculately clean and tasteful decoration. the things that really makes this place is the outstanding service of the staff. a special thanks to Erika (and Paul and the other lady apologies didn’t get your name). nothing was too much trouble.
