Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
We were accommodated in a chalet with a garden which was ideal for our 5 year old grandson, Location was great only a few miles to travel into Aviemore. Our grandson loved feeding the ducks and it was great that reception had duck food for sale. The resort was quiet and it was great to spend 4 days there. The woodland walk around the lochan was lovely.
The lodges were spacious and well equipped.
The small patio outside was very nice for a nice family meal in the woods without actually being in the woods ..
The lake in the resort is good. All lodges are nicely spaced to keep up the privacy and also not very lonely.
The location is great, close to Landmark, Aviemore and Loch Garten RSPB. We made use of the soft play at the Aviemore resort (charge applies). The resort itself is in a nice setting but we didn’t make the most of the facilities because we didn’t want to hang out in the lodge.
Staff were excellent good people and great hear Scottish accents 😉🏴. Perfect location . Only couple hours away from everything. Isle of Skye . Ullapool etc . Which we did day trips . . Loved the ducks at the resort made me smile a lot 😊
Not a great deal, we have spent a couple of long weekends at, MacDonald Hotel resorts, and to be honest, this was the worst one we have been to,and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone else
We had a fantastic stay at macdonald Lochanhully resort out Lodge. 19 woodland cottage was brilliant very comfortable, and cosy with everything we needed for our stay .
Unfortunately no facilities were open during our stay due to them undergoing refurbishment but other than that a fantastic weekend
Great location, so close to Aviemore. Very peaceful and refreshing. Shame that pool was under construction but we were allowed to use one in the next resort.
Overall very good value for the money.
The resort was excellent well positioned quite with beautiful walks around the area
