This property is not in walking distance of main resort it is an 8 minute car journey. However do not let this put you off. You feel you are in the country away from it all . 10 out of 10 for everything . A memorable experience.

A 17th century windmill tastefully converted to a very modern house, with every conceivable luxury. Wonderful hosts offered a delicious breakfast plus many extra treats. The short walk downhill to the town centre made it easy for us to enjoy Sarlat and its many fabulous restaurants.

Jonathan is an incredibly friendly and welcoming host to a beautiful apartment in the heart of Sarlat. The décor and features of the apartment are a delight; the plunge pool is a luxury and a welcome necessity in the heat of summer. Everything you need is nearby from the basics of parking and a small supermarket to fine restaurants, excellent wine shops and the best bakeries.

Situated in the pedestrianised centre of the fairy tale town of Sarlat, Le Royere is an absolute privilege to stay in. Steeped in history and full of period charm, it has the benefit of a luxury kitchen and bathroom as well as a large memory foam bed. We loved the character of the property and having bars, restaurants and bakeries on our doorstep. It was lovely to lay in bed at night and hear the life of the town continue around us. The owner of the apartment and her property manager were lovely and responded quickly if we needed anything.
