Great pool and buffet breakfast options! Great experience, rooms are a bit old and run down but the common areas, sunset bar and live music make up for it. Beautiful people

Every one of the staff were super friendly and helpful. They were all gorgeous, especially the butler service staff and the activities staff.
The staff when we checked in were excellent, too - I'd had to make 2 separate bookings and they made sure all of our needs were catered for, providing rooms close to each other for those that needed it (extended family of 10) and offering to move our son and partner to a different room after the first night (not necessary, their room was lovely - 7th floor, great views). The remainder of our group were in Premium Ocean rooms - smaller than the ocean view rooms but closer to the beach, main pool, and restaurants. Two rooms with children got the ground floor which was good access (they had a 2 year old), and we got the 3rd floor which had nice views and sound of the ocean.
The activities were numerous. Seafood buffet on the Sunday was scrumptious, and the Polynesian dancers and the fire dancers, especially, were fantastic. Best I've seen in Fiji (3 trips). A lot of the activities (e.g., fire dancing, meke show, snorkel gear, and kayaks) are free.
The restaurants onsite are pretty good (Fiji time for service in some, but expected). The Baravi Asian food was very tasty. Breakfast buffet wasn't the best we've had, but not the worst either. Unfortunately couldn't try the IVi restaurant (closed when we wanted to go). Son and partner enjoyed the food and ambience at the Sundowner (pricey), Crab Shack and the Beach Bar n Grill 2 mins walk along the beach - both had a good vibe, preferred the food at the Bar n Grill. Friendly staff. Spiral slide at main pool a huge hit with the kids. Beach okay - good sunsets - but snorkelling average and only a 2 hour window for snorkelling/water sports (can be 7-9 am!). Butler service an added bonus, such courteous staff. It's not 'upmarket' (lots of package deals), but recommend for the activities, nice gardens, and overall ambience created by the wonderful staff.

A truly special part of Fiji - a small resort that is around 5 km off the main road on the Coral Coast. Set in a valley, it is secluded and surrounded by vivid greenery everywhere. You could say it is remote, a little tricky to get to, but this is exactly what I was looking for - a retreat from the busy and stressful life back home. Flanked by local villages and with a white sandy beach directly in front of the location at the end of the gardens, the natural beauty of Wellesley is its feature. The Tropical gardens have been lovingly planned and tended to, with beautiful flowers in abundance. The coral reef is amazing, with bath-like warm water. Snorkeling reveals all the stunning colours of the reef fish - clown fish, parrot fish, zebra fish, angel fish, and so on. The thing that truly set Wellesley apart though was the staff - Riz, Raj, Jackie and every person from the maintenance to the housekeeping were just a joy and thoroughly professional throughout my 12 day stay. The lovely nature of the Fijian people shone through - polite, warm, caring, and always smiling and laughing. Riz went out of his way to ensure we were treated like family every day. We felt welcomed, cared for and were always greeted with a genuine warmness and with plenty of humour every step of the way. The staff were very careful to make sure we had our space and provided a very calming and respectful atmosphere. The chef Raj prepared daily specials with love, creating meals from scratch with stunning fresh ingredients every day. There are set menus for breakfast , lunch and dinner as well, so plenty of choice. Local reef fish caught in the surrounding waters featured in some of the many awesome dishes available. The influences were traditional Fijian staples with an Indian influence, but more western style food can be made as well. The fresh coconut, papaya, pineapple, mango, banana, watermelon and more are all sourced locally and available fresh every day for breakfast.

The staff were very nice and always greeted us with a smile.
The location of the resort with the beach and the reef at our doorstep.
The food was good.
Our beach front villa was far away from the road and the noise of the traffic.
Overall, it was good value for money.
The resort is quite dated but we found the facilities clean and comfortable.
The staff made my experience less painful.
Mattress was comfortable.
There's not much to like at the resort.
Totally run down, mouldy.
Save your money and heartache. Do not book.
The secondary menu offering tandoori chicken was good.
This place has a great vibe! The staff are friendly and so funny and welcoming, and the little bungalows are wonderful and cosy. We spent New Year’s Eve here and the resort threw a hell of a party!
Staff are all kind and respectful to the guests.
They are all like members of a family and trying their best to deliver best possible service to the guests.
Breakfast was really good and delicious.
Accommodation is affordable and is not crazy expensive like other resort with same level of service.
Two restaurants in the resort are both great and beyond expectations.
Lovely location right on beach, nice variety of buffet breakfast, and other menu. staff were lovely. A list of activities to do at the resort daily- very fun! As there is not much else to do around the area. Japanese restaurant was exceptional. Slide into pool was awesome!
I liked its locale. It has an old fashioned feel to it and that’s okay. Too many resorts are all flash and lack a Fijian feel. This resort reminds me of a summer camp like you find in the States. It’s a bit like the resort in the movie, Dirty Dancing, where the family goes for a holiday. The staff put on a fun karaoke show. 😄
