A spacious, luxurious cabin surrounded by beautiful nature with a nearby lake. The cabin is well-equipped with appliances such an oven, microwave, dish washer, etc., nothing is missing really. The whole cabin is made from big wooden logs which helps create a cozy atmosphere.
Also there is a ski resort Ruka just a few minutes ride from the cabin where you can buy groceries or go to a restaurant, so the location is also quite convenient.
Right close to the lifts, the rooms were really comfortable and well equipped. There is a paid parking right below the resort, so you can drop the car and take the lift to your room, very handy with the cold temperatures.
Cozy place close to everything! Walking distance away from the skiing resort and some cross country skiing trails and winter hiking. Host was friendly and communicative!
Magical igloo with an amazing view, located in the forest. The surroundings are just breath taking. Just nearby the resort, there's a place with a lot of activities which is very convenient.
Very cozy resort in a secluded area. Very very exceptional hospitality by the staffs in the resort. Our booking was about 3 o’clock in the noon but we arrived 10 o’clock in the morning and asked for breakfast since we are vey hungry they very gladly allowed us to join the morning breakfast. We booked 2 rooms in the resort. The checkin time was 3 but they gave us one room to stay till 3 o’clock and the other room was ready. The guide working with the base camp was also very friendly and helpful. The dinner was so excellent.
Location was peaceful on the quiet side of the Ruka ski resort complex. The view was great and the space was cozy and compact. The wooden log house had a great feeling to it. The fireplace added great atmosphere.
The villa was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The glass windows allowed amazing views and we were not far from the ski resort. Wood fireplace was cosy and the drier for ski clothes and washing machine was really useful
This felt like a luxury cabin. It had everything you need for self-catering (full kitchen, fireplace...) and also a great sauna. The location worked well for us to get to the Oulanka National Park and to Ruka ski resort. Idea to keep the key permanently in the lock box was great so you didn't have to worry about carrying the keys with you. Cute reindeer wondering in the yard was a bonus.
