Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
We and kids really enjoyed swimming pool the most and the bar, the evenings were organised quite enjoyable by the resort. Location of resort was also very convenient just outside main city of Pollença and Alcúdia was only 10-15 minutes drive. Echt aanrader en prima verblijf met kinderen.
The standard of the accomodation and the location were excellent as was the unexpected service call in the middle of the week.Also the resort itself is very good with first class bars and restaurants.
Nice family resort with a lot of kid activities and day activities.
Location is OK and not dar from plaza or beach.
We tried dinner one night and there was plenty to chose from but the breakfast is a bit limited.
Room was spacious and modern
Beautiful location. Rural feel but within 30 mins walk from centre of resort (only 10 mins on bike, pleasant cycle). Stunning pool area. Very clean. Lovely outdoor seating areas.
A super frontline apartment with balcony overlooking the beautiful marina . It is in a prime central location within the resort and is well equipped with large fridge/freezer, washing machine and super shower !
The fifth visit to Playa Mar, and the children still absolutely love this family resort and the town of Puerto Pollensa. The entertainment staff are fantastic and so are all the other members of staff. I've recommended this resort to different friends over the years, and everyone loves it.
Sadly there was nothing we liked about our stay. My family have been coming to Hotel Illa d'Or for 75+ years. It is not what it was, but the price remains that of a luxury 5star resort.
