Secret Courtyard Resort was a great place to stay in Guilin, beautiful location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend to anyone to stay, thanks!
The breakfast is OK. The location is in a cute resort village if the serene and quietness is what you like. There is a 3 miles beautiful board walk behind the resort property where you can walk, jog, or bike. The famous LuDi cave is only 15 mins walk away via the board walk.
It’s not a resort. It is similar to a hostel. Good fresh breakfast. The owner very kind but don’t speak English. The owner gave us a gift in our check out
Very nice and friendly host. We got nice and refreshing welcome drinks and fruits upon arrival. Spacious, clean and quiet room with mountain view. The bed is very comfortable. Recommend to try the local noodles for breakfast. It's delicious 😋. Coffee is👍 too. About 12-15 mins walking distance to the famous Reed Flute Cave. The host can also arrange local tours. Very cosy and relaxing environment. You will like this resort and appreciate the service.
The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and it was so pleasant to sit and eat outside. The resort is a little far from downtown but is an easy didi ride away. The lake was smaller than I expected, but it was still nice.
I really enjoyed my time here and felt very relaxed!!
My stay at the Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel just outside of Guilin was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I was picked up at the train station, welcomed with open arms as if it was home and the room was stunning with views of the Karst mountains. All my questions and requests were answered quickly via WeChat (which I highly recommend to all travelers!) and even when I needed to fix my suitcase, the host was helping me the best he could. Breakfast was wonderful as well (Chinese option!). Thank you, xie xie ni!
Amazing hospitality, great host (doesn‘t speak English but very accustomed to dealing with foreigners), booked us a didi to town and good deals for tours, washed our laundry for free, gave us watermelon to cool down after hot days - more of a guesthouse feeling than luxury hotel! we really liked it!
