Deerhurst Resort, hotel in Dwight

This waterfront resort is located on Peninsula Lake, 4 mi from downtown Huntsville. Facilities include 3 outdoor swimming pools, an on-site spa and a large inflatable water park on the lake.

They planned lots of indoor activities for the kids, which is perfect when you travel with kids on a very snowy cold day (we travelled with a baby and a 7 year old, they both enjoyed so much of the time spent there)

The resort is an older style motel/hotel that has been beautifully maintained. We loved the exceptionally friendly and helpful front staff as well as the proximity to both Huntsville and the west gate of Algonquin Park. Our room was spacious and very clean. And while we didn't have the best weather for swimming, we did enjoy the lovely gardens.

It's very beautiful location. Nice people own the resort and gave us notices beforehand via messages so we knew exactly what to expect.

We liked the proximity to Algonquin Park. The room was clean and the Inn/resort has great potential but is tired and in need of attention. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the family that runs the resort is delightful. There are canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards available for any guests to use. The property also has beautiful landscaping with lovely gardens.

We love Spring Lake Resort and try to come every year. It’s location overlooking Spring Lake is so peaceful and idyllic. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have a barbecue beside the lake every night. It’s never crowded and we enjoy the use of the free water sport items. The lake’s size makes it ideal for swimming as it’s much warmer than the larger lakes. We’ll be back again next year. Thank you Irene and Patrick!

The room is absolutely spotless, you can eat off the floors. Irene, Patrick and Jack are some warm and welcoming and so helpful. Patrick, their son, helped us with our Alquonquin Park trip passes. Every day you saw them, they asked how you are, if we need anything. It's a beautiful, small family resort. it is our third time there and hopefully will return again this August
