I red some of the poor reviews - I was pleasantly surised. This place was fine. Not a luxury hotel but an old fashioned boutique hotel run by Betty Bijoux

My room had very high ceilings and large bathroom which gave a feeling of luxury. The location is an easy 500m walk from Gent-Sint-Pieters central railway station. The manager was friendly and helpful.

Great location, huge apartments, hostel vibes, not luxury. Perfect for a group of mates not fussed about marks on walls/lumpy beds. Great communication with staff, helped out with any issues quickly and professionally 🙂

Simple luxury in the heart of Ghent. Immaculately presented apartment designed with comfort and style in mind. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely return.

We hoped for a bit of luxury after 6 weeks interrailing around Europe. We got it! A perfect location for exploring beautiful Ghent, and an easy tram ride from the train station.Very worthwhile paying a little extra for a room with a view. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. We did not need to eat again until the evening.

The rooms were excellent, bathrooms ensuite. This is not a luxury hotel, but is it very acceptable accommodation in a brilliant location, the facilities are great, staff really lovely, there's a bar, lots of space. We didn't take breakfast but it looked fine. You don't need to pay mire, it was really well located.

Loved the relaxed feel of the place which was perfectly set up for a group of people to stay comfortably. The keyless door was hugely convenient and the stocked coffee machine was an unexpected luxury. The place was spotless and it's obvious that the hosts put a lot of effort into the property.

The friendly and welcoming hosts & house cat 👍🏼 the luxury of free parking. The delicious coffee and welcoming dessert and snacks from the host. The location although by the road was ‘quiet’ and walking distance to the old town square.
