Beautiful grounds and an attractive pool. Our suite was very comfortable. It is worth having an all inclusive tariff as the drinks and meals are very good indeed starting from the welcoming rum punch. There is very much a club atmosphere and many people come back again and again.Facilities are good.

The Crane Resort, hotel in Bridgetown

Located on famous Crane Beach and overlooking the ocean, this Caribbean resort hotel offers 5 restaurants and lighted swimming pools. It is a 15-minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport....

First and foremost, this resort is absolutely stunning and very well-maintained. Our room was spacious, lovely, and came with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the garden. Everything from check-in to check-out was incredibly smooth. The staff were exceptional—every single person we encountered was helpful, polite, and greeted us with a smile. They truly made our stay special. The facilities are excellent, and all of the pools were fantastic. The beach, in my opinion, is one of the best in Barbados—private, calm, and absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed it compared to other beaches I visited on the island. As for dining, I tried the Italian restaurant, and the pasta was amazing! While the pizza didn’t quite hit the same mark, the pasta alone was worth it. A special shoutout to Richard, who went above and beyond. We were supposed to check out at 12, but my little baby wasn’t feeling well. Although reception initially refused a late checkout, Richard took it upon himself to resolve the issue. His care and dedication made all the difference, and I highly recommend the management acknowledge his outstanding service. In terms of location, the hotel is only 12 minutes away from the airport, which is convenient. However, it’s about half an hour away from Bridgetown and 20-30 minutes from the main tourist attractions, which can be a bit annoying. I highly advise renting a car to make getting around easier.

It had been a very enjoyable stay in Sugar Bay Resort. Special thanks to Latina at the concierge who has been super helpful. All the staff in the resort are very friendly, including those in the concierge, restaurants, room services and on the beach. We told the concierge that the bathroom fan is not working, by the time we came back from the beach few hours later, it was fixed, super!! All restaurants are good, quite a lot of choices and foods are delicious. The resort is right on the beautiful beach. The sand is white and soft.

I visited alone and met so many friendly people during my stay. The property is exceptionally clean at all times. This is a smaller, more quaint resort, which I loved.

The two restaurants are very good - highly recommended. Buffet food in the evening is ok but not great. Like most buffet experiences , keeping food at the right temperatures is a challenge. There is a good variety though. The beach , loungers and swimming are the best part of this resort - location is fantastic. The beach bar is also great. Attitude of the staff can be a bit variable but that was true of everywhere we went on the island.

Although this hotel is pricey for what you get its better than doing self catering because Barbados is expensive. The cocktails are great, service good, food is as you'd expect from all inclusive but in general good and plenty of it. The resort is small and in a private bay and very few kids which is what we liked. Special mention to Tyrese who is a great young guy and an asset to the hotel.

Food was really good - there was a good mix of local and international dishes and everything was well flavoured. Other all inclusives tend to make their food bland for Americans. Resort is ideal size for a few days. We were able to eat at the 2 dinner restaurants and the two lunch restaurants, use the gym and the Mongoose bar. Front desk staff were also extremely friendly and helpful
