The Resort is an excellent place to stay. It is next door to the Nelson Bay Golf Club and a short stroll to the Nelson Bay Marina and other sensational features in and near Nelson Bay (i.e. Inner Lighthouse cafe, Fingal Bay, etc)
The rooms are always well maintained, with excellent facilities. The resort looks down across Nelson Bay township out to the bay which is spectacular all the time.
The Marina Resort is located at the top of the hill quite close to the town centre so the local shops and D'Albora Marina are a short walk. There was plenty of parking and the pool was convenient for when the nearby beaches were either packed or conditions weren't great.
The resort has great views of the Nelson Bay Marina and is a short walk from both the Marina and town centre. The room has a good air-conditioner and the price for the two nights was good.
