Room was very quiet, clean and well set up. the only negative was that the aircon was cooling only and the only heating was a portable unit.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very large space. Comfortable beds. Nice to have a full kitchen with necessary cooking equipment. Great full size washer and dryer. People live in these units, so it’s more like a homestay than a hotel, which is not a bad thing if you know in advance—but it was not what we were expecting. Also, many of the units are up one or two flights of stairs and there is no elevator, so you should be prepared to carry your luggage.
Set in tropical surrounds, Santalina on Hervey Bay is located opposite Urangan Beach. Each apartment either overlooks the swimming pool and gardens or has ocean views.

Very deceiving. Booked with photos of the hotel. And hotel info Got there and got shoved to some very old place called whale cove where all permanent residence. Reception was ok one lady rude when we questioned why we werent in resort . Do not book for family.... no room service. As promised in booking. Place seemed great from reception
Lovely resort with stunning sea views. Close to restaurants and cafes. The staff were extremely helpful, even going so far as to help find us a sunset cruise. Will definitely stay again.
The cabin was so clean, light, high ceilings and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Great comfortable bed and pillows. A beautiful setting, lots of bird life and well maintained grounds, feels like a little resort and conveniently located close to the sea and esplanade so everything in walking distance. Another great thing was the stable internet signal!
The location of the property was great. It was quite spacious and was generally well equipped. The resort was quiet and the allocated car park was close by.
Well established hotel, on ground floor, very friendly and helpful staff, facilities recently upgraded, lovely bathroom, clean neat and tidy, may have been built in 1990s with modern decor. Parking outside room, very easy access. Access to eateries, RSL, seaside resort eateries. Received voucher and discount for lovely dinner. Thank Cindy and her team, and Lee and staff at RSL...wonderful service and meal. Would definitely recommend. Price was very good.
Check in was easy, Kate was very friendly and helpful. Our apartment was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything in it that we needed. Had an awesome breakfast at Smokey Joe's at their sister resort a short walk away.
