The room that we had was very comfortable with a great view off the balcony, overall the resort was in need of an upgrade but was clean and comfortable. The food and service in the bar was excellent.
The motel units are marketed as basic and that is what they are. Brilliant location with ocean views and hotels for food and drink not too far either. we enjoyed the walk. Kitchen had all amenities, beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. we were only there for two nights so we were not looking for a resort style. laundry facility was good. had to buy the pegs we needed from the IGA next door. Don't judge a book by its cover is the best way to describe the cabin. The outside is not appealing at all but once inside It was clean, comfy and had a well equipped kitchen. It's a beach cabin so don't expect luxury but it's in a great position right opposite the IGA and opposite the water. Easy walk to restaurants and cafes and lovely walk along the water.
Everything. This is our second stay at the Heritage Resort & will happily stay there again.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable.
Each day, housekeeping asked if we needed clean towels or the room made up.
Great location close to shops, with the beach just across the road.
The bar & bistro has a great atmosphere & the food was great.
The Manager who is the lady who checks you in is fantastic she is very helpful.
Right on the beach. large room and bathroom. Nice pool and BBQ/Pizza oven area (but didn't actually use). So so quiet and isolated. This is an ideal resort if you just need to totally detox and chill. But there was internet and tv, there were a couple of cafe's and restaurants, but it really felt like a much needed step back in time.
After tenting our way along the GRR we were looking forward to a little luxury on our way back home and this place delivered in spades!
