If you could pick up this hotel and put it in near Cairns CBD, update the bedroom decor a bit, then it would be 8/10. Pool was nice and warm because of the climate. Saving grace is the Urban Coffee place across the road, really friendly and affordable.
Ideally located in the central business district of Cairns, Queensland, this dream destination is located just off the Esplanade, only a short stroll from the main Cairns shopping precinct.

Good location, nice sized room. We liked the separate patio with kitchen facilities. Washer and dryer were handy but expensive. The staff is very informed about local restaurants, and they made an excellent recommendation about a dive trip to the GBR.

Beautiful accommodation and a lovely retreat, close to the airport. Property owner was very pleasant and informative. All-in-all, would love to visit again. We were able to make Daintree Forest, Cape Tribulation, and Mossman Gorge in a full-day trip.

The view from the room was fantastic! The location was fantastic! Close enough to walk to everything but far enough to not be in the middle of all the hubbub and chaos. Nice pool but we were there over school holiday and there were lots of kids being kids and not being considerate of others...but it's a family resort so...
Very much a family resort with lots of pools and play spaces. Room was comfortable but didn’t really have a view or outlook. Meals were a good size and very tasty.
Cairns Beach Resort is an excellent place to stay for touring the area. It’s right next to Holloways Beach with a cafe just over the road and is right on a bus route to the city. Very convenient for visiting The Tablelands, Mossman, The Daintree, Cape Tribulation and doing a reef trip.
