It's a great location, right near the start of Litchfield NP. It's close to Banyan Tree resort which is a good option for dinner, but quite loud so not a great place to try and sleep.
The Banyan Tree Resort has a brilliant ambience with the bar and seating under the beautiful tree. Happy Hour made drinks very cheap and we had their pizzas two nights in a row. Our near new cabin was very large and comfortable
Great location for day trips into Litchfield tourist spots.
The cabins were very spacious and comfortable.
Clean shared shower and toilet facilities.
Cafe and shop was very good with good breakfasts and lunch cooked foods as well as meal packs and alcohol available.
Short drive to Batchelor Outback Resort for dinners and a pub.
The atmosphere was nice, the lively atmosphere at night with the pub restaurant and live music was a plus, a good crowd. Banyan Tree is a beautiful resort. Staff were great
The staff are friendly and helpful. Booked a cabin for one night so we could visit the amazing water falls close by and do call in to the zebra rock museum! Another must is the yummy tucker at the resort in Bachelor .
Virtually nothing. The place was promoted as a resort, but in fact it was a pretty average caravan park with a few huts on the site. Restaurant facilities were a joke and what was available was expensive. The advertising for this place is misleading. The only saving grace I can remember was the air conditioner in the hut was very effective in the very hot conditions at the time.
