Close to Aquila - unfortunately not really near anything else so not sure how you’d stumble on this place if you’re not day tripping there but it was quiet and enjoyable. There’s a nice pool area, good restaurants on site for dinner and breakfast, helpful staff, small shop for supplies. Room is comfy with AC etc.

While the owners live in close proximity, we didn’t hear or see them, despite playing our music loudly. This gave us a feeling of being alone, despite the presences of others on the farm. We loved making a bonfire and watching the sunset and sunrise from the deck. The hiking trails are also great, and if it gets hot you can swim in one of the dams. Phenomenal experience overall

Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve is a recently renovated apartment in Touwsrivier, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Most beautiful natural reserve perfectly suited for people who seek to detox, disconnect and embrace solitude in the wild. Much more sustainable (and in our opinion : real) than a private game reserve. Most cabins come with an outdoor hot tub that allows you to watch shooting stars at night until you’re ready to fall into your bed. The family running the place takes great care of their guests and even more so of ensuring the estate, and its flora & fauna keep blossoming. Bravo!

Located within 46 km of Boschenmeer Golf Course and 24 km of Fonteintjiesberg Nature Reserve, Opstal Stay provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Rawsonville. The property was STUNNING. Every element was meticulously designed. The cabin was private, clean, luxurious, and the wood-heated hot tub was the real gem. High-quality bedding and insane views topped it all off. Would stay again and recommend very highly (but shhhhh don't tell too many people!)

Set in Worcester and only 4.1 km from Worcester Golf Club, Kuruma Farm Cottages offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The farm is situated in a pretty little area just outside of the town. The area is exquisite, I sat on the verandah in the morning sipping coffee and staring at the mountains, and it was heavenly. The cottage is comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to cook with and we slept extremely well as it's very quiet out there. The host left some farm eggs for us to enjoy which were delicious!
