Located in Oudtshoorn, 3.3 km from Oudtshoorn Golf Course, The Featherbed - Oudtshoorn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Featherbed was great value for money for our family of four. The accommodation was modern, very comfortable, and had all the amenities for a long stay. To add to the warmth of the property, the host was marvellous with loving and genuine personal care and to our comfort. We also enjoyed the use of the pool table and the common area during our stay. The property also boasts lovely two person accommodation, well separated from family units, which is great for discerning couples or business minded individuals. Thank you for a lovely short stay. We hope to be back for a longer stay in the near future.

As soon as you drive into the De Opstal property you sense this is a different kind of place. The owners don’t just DO hospitality as a means to an end; they ARE hospitality embodied. It feels like it’s their life’s mission. De Opstal’s old charm accommodations are surrounded by magnificent flower gardens, fruit trees, and fields that are not over-manicured, rather reflective of the owners’ true love of nature and deep desire to create an environment for their guests that engages all their senses. The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

The breakfast was wonderful with loads of choices all included. The coffee was great and the staff were all very friendly and professional. I will definitely stay again when we are next in the area.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of mountain, Swartberg Pass Cottages - Kobus Se Gat is set in Matjiesrivier, 36 km from Cango Wildlife Ranch. Absolutely everything was perfect. A little gem! We ordered a braaipack in advance. It contained so much more than expected. In addition to the meat, there was roosterkoek, jam, salad, pumpkin fritters and more. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had every utensil we needed and fresh drinkwater was supplied. The Swartberg Mountains around us were breathtaking. We loved our stay. It was booked for a stay-over location close to the Cango Caves but we will be back for a longer stay at some stage to explore the area further.

I Oudtshoorn, 2,6 kilometer fra Oudtshoorn golfbane, ligger Baron's Palace, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en terrasse. Very central to eateries and the town. The rooms are quite sound proof. No unnecessary intrusions from staff. Was quite busy when we visited and you wouldn't have noticed. The pool was well kept and maintained. We could just drop the keys in the box when we left. The rooms have aircon which was a life saver during the December heatwaves.

Turnberry Boutique Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Oudtshoorn. Lovely, secure, clean and good bar facilities. Amazing breakfast. Well-trained staff. Very friendly.
