Wow....we booked the private bungalow and I can't express how perfect it was. It was fully equipped, private pool, luxury furnishings. The hotels location is great for access to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. The staff can help you with all your bookings.

There was lots of interesting game to see and Free snacks on the way! Very good food with accomodating Catering. The airconditioning was also unaffected by load shedding!

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is situated on the western boundary of the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park. The lodge boasts a spa, outdoor swimming pool and restaurant. The staff were amazing, very friendly & welcoming. The food was excellent & beautifully presented. I especially liked the sustainability of choices as food was used in a variety of ways for different menus so this leads to little waste & cost of transporting food into the venue each day.

Not exaggerating: This truly was the best accommodation of our whole holiday, in every perspective. Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. Featuring garden views, Tchagra House provides accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 18 km from Falaza Game Park and Spa. Everything - the layout and location of the house, the staff and the wildlife. It’s ideally situated between Hluhluwe -iMfolozi (a Big Five Game Reserve) and Isimangaliso Wetland Park. And there are two good restaurants very nearby which is very convenient if you don’t want to cater for yourself. We didn’t realize when booking that the house itself was in a small game park, so nearly every day we were amazed to see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope, duikers and vervet monkeys as well variety of bird life all from the back of the house. The house is located at the far end of the park so it felt secluded and peaceful, yet had all the modern amenities. It was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The housekeeper Zanele and the groundskeeper Ruben were so nice and helpful. The owners were highly responsive as well. We highly recommend Tchagra House and were very sad to leave.

Mudhouse Zululand is a recently renovated chalet in Hluhluwe, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.... Amazing special place! Highly recommend if you want a private experience in the african bush
