This is a really comfortable stay in a lovely area, surrounded by historically special houses in GR, which is food for the soul. We really loved our stay and would recommend to any family travelling through GR. Restaurant recommendations were welcome and we really loved our evening eating out at Hello You - would recommend. The host also made-up beds for our kiddos in the lounge and the fact that this was ready on arrival was welcomed by a tired mom and dad.

Offering a garden and barbecue facilities, Toni's Cottage in Graaff-Reinet is close to Graaff-Reinet Railway Station and Reinet House Museum. Toni is an exceptional host and pays a lot of attention to detail. Our doggies and cat was well accommodated and we all slept very comfortably. A very good stop over spot after a long day's driving. Toni kept in contact the whole time to ensure that she is ready for when we arrived. Provisions were also made for loadshedding. And the breakfast was amazing!

Nieu-Bethesda
The remote location means you are close to off-road/gravel scenic trials/routes/reserves. Daytrips to Nieu-Bethesda, Graaff-Reinet and surrounds. Unpolluted fresh air, surrounded by nature, starry nights and silence. Due apparently to a booking-mistake the Owner upgraded us (for free) to a better room, to ensure we don't need to move from rooms during our 4-night stay, and provision of basic items to enable us to braai and make simple meals. Remedying lack of both warm and cold water supply/pressure, the next day.
One of South Africa's must visit country hotels. Whenever I can (and can afford it), I stay over at this lovely hotel in Graaff-Reinet - summer or winter. Be sure to explore the buildings and try the cigar lounge, which has an excellent collection of books. The restaurant is excellent, at times they have wines in the cellar that are hard to source elsewhere (apart from Franschhoek). Small art gallery and wine shop attached to the hotel. Other nice little restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

I know for a fact where I will stay next time I will visit Graaff-Reinet, irrespective if it is for business or leisure. Many thanks Simone.

Toni's cottage was good for our overnight stopover in Graaff-Reinet, room was clean and neat, wifi worked. No complaints. Toni baked us some superb bacon and spring onion tarts for our 6am departure, they didnt last long. Toni directed us to Drostdy hotel for dinner - excellent choice.
The most amazing house, the staff were so friendly, cozy room close to nature. Just an increible experience.
Very clean and spacious. Central in town. Close to everything.
The property is central with safe parking The room was clean and the bed comfortable The outside seating area was a surprise
We loved the swimming pool, air conditioning, the size of the room was extra spacious, the bathroom & shower was a good size. Highly recommend this stay over.
Very friendly owners that went out of their way to help us very late at night. Would recommend them anytime. Would stay there again when I pass through town.
Clean, spacious and well located
The facility was very well prepared and I could see a lot of effort was put into the the buildings and surrounding area to make it outstanding.
The self catering unit we had at Country Village was spotlessly clean, and looked fresh and crisp. After a long trip it was a very refreshing place to walk into. Kitchen area was well equipped. No need here to worry about load-shedding as unit was equipped with a gas cooker and rechargeable LED lamps. Excellent value for money. Our host, Natasha was impressively hands-on and efficient!
