Situated in Rayton in the Gauteng region and University of Pretoria reachable within 33 km, Lunford Garden Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, pool with a view and... On arrival Barbara greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a tour of the cottage. What an amazing Christmas, for Christmas day we had some family over, Barbara and her staff went out of their way. Barbara set up a tent with stunning decorated tables, she even put up a Christmas tree for us. There were some extra guests that arrived that we did not know about, and Barbara was a phone call away to assist with extra chairs, a table and setting. Boxing day Barbara took us on a tour around the farm, she has such a passion for what she does, even my grown-up children enjoyed the interaction with the farm animals. The day we left Barbara greeted us with an arm full of fresh eggs and farm veggies and some inspirational books. Christmas 2024 will be an everlasting memory, and we will surely be returning for a weekend getaway.

Featherwood Farm & Nyala Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Rayton, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. Naomi (The manager)'s service was impeccable. Loved how spacious the house was, beautiful furniture

East of East Guest Cottage, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Avondzon, 27 km from University of Pretoria, 28 km from Pretoria Country Club, as well as 29 km from Union Buildings. Amazing host that thought of everything. Very spacious and we really enjoyed wathing the birdlife from the braai/boma area. Bed was super confy. The amazing breakfast that was free and brought to your place was a bonus!!

Offering a garden and garden view, Sunset Guesthouse and Venue Cullinan is situated in Meule, 49 km from University of Pretoria and 50 km from Pretoria Country Club. I give a 10 because the place is pretty and the location is nice. Calm surroundings, it was great to stop there after 4 days camping in Kruger. Very nice to rest and charge battery. The owner are awesome, take time to share some words if you can. I also recommend to order dinner. The house is super nice, you feel like at home at first second, mixed feelings of farm and luxury. I really recommend +++ thank you again for your hospitality.

Very well appointed self catering unit. Immersed in nature, very relaxing just lazing in the pool and having the wildlife casually grazing nearby. Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings. The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests. We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities. The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion. Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!

Offering barbecue facilities and garden view, Five Pebbles on Piece of Africa is situated in Cullinan, 40 km from Union Buildings and 42 km from Pretoria Country Club. Very cozy and private with excellent view of nature. Loved the quiet bush feeling. Perfect place to recharge from the busy city.
