It was only 30 minutes to walk from the hotel. Super convenient!

I've never experienced a steam/mist device in a shower before, but it was a great feature! The bed was comfy and parking was just outside the room - ideal for transferring heavy cases! Very close to some fantastic wine tasting bars, plus of the best places I've eaten in my life - La Fondue! The staff I spoke to were great - one gent printed me off directions to help us find a particular place. Highly recommended.

Location was good from the perspective of being in central Silicon Valley, if you have a car. As a visitor without a car, then options were rather limited, although there were shops and some restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel was rather basic, but very clean and the staff were universally excellent and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with an enormous TV, if that's important to you! Tea and coffee machine in the room, which was good.
We've stayed at this property multiple times. While not a "budget" hotel. this is a good value in the (usually) over-priced Silicon Valley. The location is only a block off the freeway and minutes from the airport -- very convenient. The breakfast is about what you'd expect at the price point; eggs, waffle maker, cereal, baked goods, etc. If you just need a place to sleep, in a reasonably safe area, at a good price, this is good choice.
This hotel was a good value for money, with the location being very good for travelers wanting to explore the South Bay Area / Silicon Valley. The place was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed in the room, plus on-site gym facility and coin-operated laundry machines! The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast selection, though small, was more than sufficient to fuel us for the day's adventure!
This is a clean and comfortable, modern-chic hotel serving Silicon Valley business clients. The rooms are spare and industrial, and provide enough sound proofing so you don't hear the nearby highway traffic. The bar downstairs serves high end whiskey and bar bites. I chose the location since it's within walking distance of my corporate campus, so I saved a lot on car rentals.
This boutique hotel offers old world charm in one of the prettiest towns of Silicon Valley. Well situated on Los Altos Main Street, it is also a short walk from the beautiful Redwood Preserve park and nature trail. The staff — especially Carla and Christian — are very friendly and welcoming. Complimentary glass of wine and cheese plate served daily is a nice added touch.
Great location for staying in the South Bay, right next to a very good Vietnamese restaurant and across the street from shops and a Peets coffee. Very good value for the money for Silicon Valley. Hotel a bit dated, but overall not bad. Would definitely stay there again when I'm in town and want to visit my friends in the South Bay.
Great value for a stay in Palo Alto or Silicon Valley. Room is very clean and comfortable. It is an old school style, but amenities, comfort, and staff make worthy of the high ratings. Surrounding hotels are 3x to 4x in price. This is my 2nd stay in the last year and will continue to use this in the future visits.
Santa Clara
This hotel was a remarkable value that we were over the moon about. Very cute design, comfortable beds, a beautiful shower, and a great central location for SJC/cupertino./Silicon Valley. The room felt clean and spacious enough, and was in a quiet neighborhood.
We looked all over Silicon Valley for a place to stay a few days while we were apartment hunting, and the Zen Hotel seemed like the obvious choice from looking online. And we were really happy with it! Good breakfast, very nice staff, good location.
The Grand Bay Hotel, formerly known as Pullman or Sofitel is a very convenient place to stay if you do business in Silicon Valley. But it is not a new hotel. The hotel rooms are good but not exceptional. It is clean.
This was probably the best value hotel I’ve stayed in. The quality all around, plus the price. Considering it is the San Jose, Silicon Valley area. Plus, a great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
