Located in Avalon and within less than 1 km of Descanso Beach, Hotel Mac Rae features water sports facilities, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. I loved the location of the hotel, the staff was very friendly, it is a place that I will definitely I will return, you can walk from the ferry to the hotel without having to pay a taxi, everything is very close and in front of the hotel you can sunbathe on the sand and go into the sea! Breakfast is included, but if you like to go to the market it is around the corner from the hotel and you can buy your groceries for your stay, there are also restaurants very close, it is a paradise.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown so it was super easy to get to off the ferry. It is above a few shops but we had no issues with noise. It is right next to all of the best restaurants (I highly recommend Lobster trap). The room is small but cozy -its not like you are there to spend time in the room anyway. Recently updated bathroom was nice. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and they had flowers waiting in the room. Super friendly staff- highly recommend.
