Located in Newport, 400 metres from Easton's Beach, The Cliffside Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. A beautiful property in a great location. Breakfast was a lovely selection of small plates, with delicious sweet and savoury home-made choices. We stayed in The Loft room which was perfect for January, very cosy with a remote-controlled gas fire and an amazing bathroom. If I stay again in the spring/summer months I would probably choose a room at the front of the house with a view out to the bay. We had a delightful 2-night stay and would highly recommend.

The Sea Breeze Inn is located in Middletown, 3.4 km from Whitehall Museum House. Free private parking is available on site. Easton's Beach is 645 metres from the property and Newport is 3.8 km away. What did we like? We loved, loved, loved the location! The Sea Breeze Inn is close enough to downtown Newport's shops and eats to get there conveniently, and yet it is far enough away from all that traffic and congestion so you can relax and enjoy some solitude. We also liked the fact that the windows in our room actually worked as windows are supposed to, letting in those great ocean breezes, and letting us breathe fresh air. We also liked the cooked to order breakfasts each morning.

The Howland House Inn was built around 1765, and has been restored and renovated since. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi at this inn. Absolutely wonderful. Great location. Our suite was comfortable, spacious and charming. The innkeeper, Karen, was delightful. No detail was forgotten. Planning to return to explore more of Newport and stay in this gem.
