The food is incredible - The Birdcage, The Restaurant, and even the poolside food. We also did the luxe picnic and that food was fantastic as well. The hotel really goes out of their way to provide a quiet, romantic, and unique experience. The suites are large, well furnished, and comfortable. There is even a small kitchen with nespresso, a toaster, microwave, plates and utensils, refrigerator, freezer, cups. No, it’s not on the beach… however, if you want to go, let them know which beach and they’ll provide you chairs and an umbrella and they’ll drop you off and come pick you up. It’s absolutely worth the price for the serenity: nothing is crowded, no fighting for pool chairs or dinner reservations.

I couldn’t be more in LOVE with this place. It was perfect, spacious and exactly as the pictures. Beautiful view, and very quiet around. We were welcoming with a little bag with gifts from Hawaii that I definitely loved, it was so special to me. The place has everything you need for your stay and also for the beach. Bed it was super comfortable. AMAZING!!!!!!

It is great that it is so close to local shops, we were able to walk to shops. Beautiful landscaping and local plants. Enjoyed being close to the pool.

Kohea Kai Hotel Maui is a family-friendly hotel located in Kiehi on Maui's south shore, steps from the Pacific Ocean. The hotel offers free WiFi. great staff, comfortable bed, clean room, great location to beach, gas, restaurants, free parking...loved the area! The breakfast snack items were wonderful and available to use all day...saved us money with no breakfast bills.
