Southold
The Southold beach hotel is located across the street from the Long Island sound. The location is beautiful. Southold is a wonderful village and community. The room was modern and just right. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice couch to watch TV on. The room has a nice sized refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Thank you Colin for being an accommodating host. He even upgraded our room at no charge.
Very comfortable king size bed, room was on 3rd floor and facing the rear of the hotel, it was quiet, considering how close the hotel is to the highway. It's super easy to find from the Long Island Expressway. I had stayed at this location several times when it was a Ramada - since it's changed to a Holiday Inn - it is greatly improved in just about every way.
This hotel was available on a difficult night to find a room anywhere near JFK; the friendly staff gave a warm welcome after a frustrating day travelling. There are lots and lots of pubs and restaurants located very close, which are open late, The AirTrain and Long Island Rail Road links to JFK from here are excellent as the station is just outside the hotel.
The hotel room was spotless. Very happy with the room and the service provided at the Bistro. The waitresses were exceptional. I regret not getting their names. We enjoyed the casino but it was not the main reason we stayed here. We chose this location because of its close proximity to the Long Island Expressway. It far exceeded our expectations.
Overall this is a very good value for Long Island, easy to get to from the highway, but not near any beaches. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, very clean. The hotel is pet friendly - we brought our dog. Breakfast was excellent, but the buffet is not currently open. The breakfast vouchers are good for any a la carte breakfast order instead.
Hotel is beautiful if you are staying during the summer ! Huge pool area, nice lounge chairs , patio. PoolSide service. We live on Long Island but like to do little getaways. This hotel was super clean , comfortable and close to everything. Much nicer then some hotels in the Hamptons that are double the price.
Huntington
The location is great! The hotel is right on a busy and popular main strip, Jericho Turnpike. It runs East and West through Long Island with PLENTY of stores, fast food restaurants, mechanics you name it. All within a mile of where the hotel is.it 7It's impossible to get lost on this main road!
The team at the Hyatt Place Hotel East End Long Island is exceptional. The location, service, the rooms and the breakfast is superb. This is my favorite hotel when visiting the area and I highly recommend it. Thank you so much Hyatt Place in Riverhead. Looking forward to seeing you again!
I came to Long Island to meet with a dr. I stayed at three hotels while here. this hotel is by far the best. the staff are amazing, the room is perfectly cleaned, the pool was delightful and the pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes is the cherry on the top!
The Charming Long Island home was perfect for our needs as a large multigenerational family wanting to be together. The host was very accommodating. He responded positively to all our requests, including a last minute request for a two-night extension.
Look, I stayed here two nights while attending a wedding on Long Island. It was a good enough place to stay as a base to drop my bags and sleep. I have to compliment the staff who were very helpful for a few queries I made.
Location was perfect. Everything was within a couple of miles. There are many restaurants, grocery stores, mall, etc. Also, easy access to the highway. It’s one of the very few hotels on Long Island that have central air.

The rooms were tidy, spacious and nicely decorated. The location was great for touring Long Island. The grounds of the Inn and the pool were optimal for our company.
The staff was great and the hotel was conveniently located with quick and easy access to Jones Beach as well as the other parts of Long Island we visited.
There were outdoor pool. Long Island is beautiful and from this hotel you can get many places by car quite easily. JFK airport is also quite near.
