The pool is half inside and half outside, my kids enjoyed it a lot. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. If the first floor is booked, you'll have to take the gorgeous stairs. Extra points, a lot of extra points, for providing a real coffee pot with fresh ground coffee that doesn't come in a plastic bag and big porcelain mugs to drink it from.

Unfortunately we arrived at the hotel very late due to delayed flights and our luggage was lost (did not get it until mid day the next day). The front desk did have toothbrushes and toothpaste we could have - not sure if there is an opportunity to have a few additional items available, if even for purchase (eg pyjamas/t-shirt etc). Perhaps this doesn't happen often enough for travellers to Fort Wayne to warrant anything more.
