Set in Jiaoxi, Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa features views of the city. The property is around 7 minutes' walk from Jiaoxi Hot Springs Park and 10 minutes' walk from Tangweigou Springs Park. The front desk staff is fantastic, with special thanks to Ms. Yvonne Tsang. I was looking for a locally-made product and all I have is a phone number and product name. She made a call for me and got the local seller's address and business hours. Around the same time, other front desk staff printed out the location details for me. I am grateful to them for their assistance and service.

Open-air hot spring pools, a heated outdoor pool and pampering spa treatments can be enjoyed at Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi. It provides a free shuttle from Chiaohsi Train Station, a 10 minute drive away. Service location food facilities were excellent. Everything is taken care of including having towels available at the pools The night buffet was very good quality but the zen garden restaurant chefs menu was even better. The hotel also had a lot of free activities for guests which included hiking tour and craft activities . There's a free library for guests with lots and lots of books on lend.

Alot of eateries around hotel. Unisex hot spring jacuzzi pool, steam room and sauna room available at rooftop - nice!

I find the food in Yilan county to be very bad every time I go there. If you are coming from Taipei, bring lots of snacks, even a picnic. There are a lot of fresh seafood places and inexplicably a ton of steak houses (I'm very suspicious of beef in a country without cows) but otherwise, tough luck.
public transport very limited. people hopefully very kind. Not much to see, many japanese restaurants, attractions are mostly in Yilan county and you need a scooter!!!!!
The staffs are very accommodative. The breakfast is awesome (for me, it's even better than those 5 star hotel) The place is very clean and their housekeeping service is really professional. Very near to Luodong Night Market 7 minutes walk to TRA Luodong, which is very convenient for me to travel across Yilan County areas

located above a shopping mall so it was very convenient for food and indoor activities in the event of wet weather. hotel also provided complimentary movie tickets on a daily basis. bouncy castle and electric cars kept children occupied.

Good facility with roof-top swimming pool and hot spring pool, which both requires swimming suit. They also have hot spring pool requiring naked in B2 that is sharing with neighbor hotel Just Sleep. Snack and beverages are free in the afternoon and they also provided happy hour for alcohol. In-room hot spring tub is fantastic, which is open air and located on balcony with privacy screens. The layout of room is well designed, which has shower room connected to balcony, and a movable divider between beds and living area. Free coke, water and some other beverages with facial masks are provided in fridge. Breakfast was awesome with all different options.
Help service is good. The sea view is super. The roof pool is excellent.
Beautiful. Clean. Right inside the traditional art center, which is indeed a fun place. The breakfast is more than impressive.
Japanese theme park had lots of activities to entertain kids. Entrance is free and there are a few complimentary activities we can do. For the rest, we have to pay for it. The onsen is good with about 4 pools (3 hot and 1 cold) and a rest area within.
Love the high end touches and feel of the hotel. Bed and room space were very comfortable. international buffet breakfast the location was also quite central and walking distance to convenience stall and nearby shops.

The staff in this hotel have the best service attitude I have ever encountered. Friendly, professional and always willing to help. The hotel shuttle drivers were friendly and very punctual. We experienced the earthquake having breakfast and the service staff ensured our safety by evacuating us calmly and professionally…they must have felt scared and worried too. Kudos to the great service attitude! The concierge staff was really helpful throughout our stay, helping to book the shuttle van and responding last minute as we missed our train from Yilan. He also helped to carry the luggages down 7 floors as the lift were under review after the earthquake. Thank you so much! Great spread for breakfast and hotel provided free food for afternoon snacks and evening snacks. Loved these! The jacuzzi pool with hot springs water was very relaxing. One of the nozzle did not work and the lifeguard immediately responded and got it fixed! Great efficiency!
