Mimi the hostel owner was absolutely fantastic. She has a lot of I formation written down for I dependently organising trips around the area. She is also extremely generous and I was able to have some of her home cooking! It was wonderful to meet her! The hostel is clean and cozy. Each bed has a light and plug point. I was able to store my bag after check out. It is conveniently located near the night market and train station. It is on the main road of Kanchanaburi so you can easily catch a songtheaw to the River Kwai bridge or bus station.

What was not to like in this little gem as I was visiting for 2 days/ nights. Staff were exceptionally friendly, my room was super clean & a nice size (Room 406) set on the level with a nice sun deck where I captured a glorious sunrise with a coffee. Breakfast was a lovely choice If you are looking for a nice hotel, a mere 5 min stroll to the bars/restaurants & only a 10 min stroll to the bridge over the River Kwai & War museum, then look no further. ATM only 500 yards away also A must stay if visiting Kanchanaburi

We liked that the resort is located in beautiful, green and peaceful parkland with frontage to the River Kwai. Accommodation is set back away from the river, keeping the river scenery mainly unspoiled. Staff responded very quickly and politely when something was needed or had to be done. Cleanliness of the room was among the best I have experienced in Thailand. The room was cleaned daily and the beds made,

The room was bright and clean, well, lit. The flat screen t v was a smart TV., I easily logged into my movie channels and watch my movies. The hotel allowed me to use a bicycle. It was a short distance on bike to the souvenir shops, cafes or restaurants and of course the iconic Bridge Over River Kwai. Staff was manned twenty four hours and arranged my transportation to the train station., security was good.

It was in a beautiful setting overlooking the river Kwai.The decoration of the rooms were all wooden and authentic.The surrounding gardens were well kept and the rooms were clean and had everything you needed.The staff were fantastic they went over and above to help you with anything you wanted nothing was too much trouble.We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location near the River Kwai. Large and clean rooms, two swimming pools, breakfast/restaurant next to the river (book on beforehand!). Very friendly personnel. The reception is very helpful in booking taxis, tuktuks and trips. Nice street with shops and bars close by the resort (but not noisy in the hotel room).

Everything. My favourite place to stay in Thailand, been there second time. It's a paradise. The pool and the lake in the area, amazing activities for additional price (I recommend to try "swim in the river Kwai"), beautifully located restaurant with unforgettable breakfasts, the nature around...

This hotel is a brand new hotel in about two years old. The location was right next to the bridge of the river Kwai. Only less than 100 meters away from the hotel. If you want to see the renowned bridge view, I would recommend that you should stay on the 3rd floor of this hotel.

Wonderful hostel! The staff couldn't be more helpful or kind! The hostel is close to the Bridge on the River Kwai - it's within walking distance to some delicious restaurants and an easy bus/taxi ride to most places. Fantastic value and such kind, kind staff!

We liked the room and view from our window. There is no lift but the staff will take your bags to your room the roof top pool was a nice touch with a great view . Breakfast was very enjoyable and the hotel location was great for going to the bridge over the river kwai

Big, clean and verf nice room. Nice big bed. Near the bridge river kwai only 5 min with tuk tuk. Reception arranged a driver for us to go to helfire pas and death railway. Good breakfast. Outside hotel many restaurant. And 7 eleven is next door.

Great location, nice and quiet by the river but just a short walk to the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai. The owner is very helpful and arranged a private taxi tour to Hellfire Pass at the last minute. Short walk to many restaurants.

Very nice hotel with two large swimming pools. Large room with excellent river views, about 20m from the river. Easy walking distance to the River Kwai Bridge. We had our own car and there was plenty of undercover parking aviable.

This is a relatively small, ultra friendly hotel. I had a room overlooking the River Kwai, which is what I came for. The Thai food is excellent. Very helpful staff , ordered me taxis, gave me advice, booked a guided tour for me.

This is a hidden gem!! The Float House River Kwai is the most beautiful place i have ever been. Everything is in sync. The surroundings, the resort, the staff! Just everything. A must do, when travveling to Thailand🇹🇭

Great location near River Kwai bridge and other historical places . Pool was nice bonus after day of site seeing . Helpful staff . Walkable to good restaurants. Hotel is very nice . Price/ value was excellent .

The room size was good and we had a view of the river. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was located just about 15 minutes by bicycle to the famous River Kwai.

Beautiful area with lots of swings, places to sit and zones to take a photo. River Kwai is just 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. 7-11 is nearby too.

Delightful hotel overlooking the River Kwai. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast OK, dinner was very good. Walking distance to bridge over the river.
