A piece of Paradise, we loved EVERYTHING here, amazing hospitality! We stayed in the beautiful (clay) ECO House, constructed by the owner himself, with lots of love for details ("dry toilet") a marvelous garden and delicious food. If you are crazy enough to arrive by car, you might want to leave it at the main road and take a shortcut by walking, as it's pretty adventurous otherwise... No hot water - which wasn't a problem at all

Beach is 10 minutes walking distance and rather clean at that stretch which is rare in Senegal (Most beaches from north to south we saw were plastic rubbish dumps whereever people live nearby)

In a very quiet location in the forest. Plenty of vegetation. We very much liked the staff and they became our friends: Petit Joe, Babu and others. Chez Bethy case africaine er et feriehus ved stranden i Abene, der tilbyder bæredygtig indkvartering med naturskøn havudsigt. Der er døgnåben reception og parkering på stedet. Simple, beautiful, nice hosts, really close to the beach (less than 1minute walking), close to restaurants, mini groceries shop (less than 10min). A wonderful place to stay either if you are traveling by yourself or with family (we've traveled with our 3year old boy). We had a great experience there and will be back as soon as possible!

Campament Tyliboo is a welcoming place in the middle of the nature, with lots of trees and fruit that you can pick up every morning. Bibi is one of the best cooks I encountered in Senegal and Ousmane was a great guide bringing us around and showing us the beauty of Kafountine. 100% recommended!
