European cuisine is served at the restaurant.... Pretty much everything - the maisonette idea was brilliant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff attentive and hard working - and the view was worth 10 times what we paid. If you want to see Oravsky Castle (and you do) then this is the place to stay. Breakfast was great but beware of the pizzas - they are giant sized.

Great location, very close to the bus station and taxis, close to the lake and COOP, Tempo, lavishly furnished. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very helpful. And my room had an amazing exit to the balcony, which was probably for the guests who smoke or want to soak up the sun :-).

Excel·lent hotel just sota el castell d'Orava. Habitació enorme i esmorzar molt complet per només 5 €. Hi ha una cuina amb una terrassa que es pot fer servir. L'atenció del personal és excel·lent.

Pefect place to stay even due to business reason. Wi-fi working without any issue. Kettle in a room and...hard to belive, but you can drink esspresso any time, as the coffee maker is in your room!

A beautiful place in the mountains. The room was very very spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We stopped there because our kids wanted to visit the Orava Castel and so we changed our plans and spent a day in Slovakia. If we knew how beautiful this place was, we would have spent more days there. Hopefully we will come back again some day!
Everything! What a stunning location, with breathtaking views and surroundings. A beautiful cottage with room to spare in a highly sought after tourist area. Ski fields and mountain ranges just begging to be explored right from the front door. The accommodation itself was exceptional, clean and modern. So warm and comfortable, peaceful and close to nature. Internal heating, fireplace, kitchen with everything supplied, plenty of sleeping space and multiple bathrooms that look brand new. Great for large groups too, with plenty of onsite parking. The children's play area and outdoor fire pit just add to the charm of this rustic gem. Thermal water parks are within walking distance, there is something for everyone!
We stayed for one night as this was only stop for us to sleep towards our destination. We appreciate good price offer for this what you get. Very nice breakfast with salty and sweet joice, hot and cold choise.
Super tasty breakfast. Beautiful surroundings
We usually visit Penzion Josu at Christmas, this was our first summer visit and well worth it. Great location to hiking trails and thermal waters. In the evening we watched shooting stars, played table tennis and a game of chess outdoors. Not enough time to enjoy the pool or bowling alley. Our favourite place in Slovakia ❤️

Sauna Zlaty Bazant 10 was surprisingly good
Penzion Skerda is very cozy accommodation directly in the village of Zuberec. We had a warm welcome from the owner. Our room had cute furniture in a traditional slovak style. Bed materess and sheets were very comfy. Kitchen was also very well equipped, we even had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with coffee capsules in the room. This was definitely one of our most comfortable accommodations we have ever experienced.
