Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view. Everything was spectacular! The rooms are amazing, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is so diverse and full of options. Also, I can’t say this enough: everyone needs to try their dinner! It was absolutely the best food we had in all of our 2 week trip in Slovenia! They are aiming to get a Michelin star and I think they deserve one.

Boutique Hotel Vila Loka is located in Škofja Loka, within 24 km of Ljubljana Train Station and 26 km of Ljubljana Castle. Our stay here was fabulous. The location was walking distance to the center of town and chooses of restaurants. The room was comfortable. The furniture, flooring and bathroom were clearly updated or renovated. Bathroom was big and the rain shower was great! The owner Sasha/Sa^sa is so nice and helpful with ideas on places to visit and drives through villages/country side. She also guided us to the urgent care when I got sick and needed medical attention. The breakfast was amazing -so many choices of foods and Sasha made whatever kind of eggs your heart desired. Coffee and teas are available all day long.
