Located on the beachfront in an island called Donsö, Hotel Isbolaget features a bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi.... A beautiful little hotel on the tiny island of Donsö, with very clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant is very good, and the breakfast buffet is spectacular. We happened to be there when the fiercest storm in a quarter century (Hans) hit the west coast of Sweden, so we were forced to stay inside. Isbolaget was so cozy and comfortable that we were happy to do so, even though we didn’t get to explore the island and its neighbor, Styrsö. The staff is warm and helpful as well.

Facing the beachfront, Strandflickornas Husen invid Havet offers 3-star accommodation in Lysekil and has a garden, restaurant and bar. We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

My first trip to Sweden and it's the best place I ever visited, both the country and the hotel. Rooms are superb as a whole too, just wish the bed was a bit firmer - for my taste. Met some of the coolest guys ever, as well. Graham, Max (was the second I think), and I can't remember the name of the third one for the love of me. I wish I could, but if you are reading this, it was a pleasure to hang out with you, guys. They were on a business trip, from England, but too bad we never exchanged numbers or something. Just know you guys were the highlight of my trip. Also, cheers to Ästa (the girl that was serving us drinks on Sunday) for putting up with our loud and utterly crazy jokes and being a great sport about it, she's great, as is all the other staff too. Everyone is great here. Also, special cheers to the younger, blonde guy, with glasses (I can't remember the name, sorry), at the restaurant/bar area, he was great too and as was the a-bit-older-than-the-rest-of-the-staff at the reception - very friendly. Thanks everyone for making my trip great. Will be coming back for sure.
